Musical Monday- Say My Name from Odesza

So did you all have a good holiday weekend here in The States?  I worked today, but I did have the weekend off, and it was nice.  Spent time with family and friends.  Sat out by a camp fire and roasted smores for the first time this year.  It was great.  Now I have a couple days of work and then it's vacation for four days!  Hurrah!  I'm hoping to get some blogging stuff done and in the works over my days off.

But, I digress, Musical Monday it is, so it's time to share my jam for the week with all of you.  Sometimes you pick a song because it fits where your life is at the moment, sometimes you really like the artist, and sometimes it just feels right.  And that's how this week's pick feels.  It's by an artist that is new to me, and I stumbled across on a Spotify song list and just loved.  It's Odesza's "Say My Name".  It's hard not to want to be up and moving when you hear this song.  The video isn't much, but it gives you the words so you can sing along, if that's your flavor.


Honestly, I don't know why I love it so much, because it's not my usual cup of tea, but I just do.  I added it to my ever changing Spotify playlist Treadmill Motivation.  Because sometimes most of the time, the treadmill can be pretty dull.  So I find it helps to have an assortment of upbeat songs to shuffle through.
