Musical Monday- Every Other Freckle by alt-J

It's dreary outside.  Lots of leaves on the ground, most of them are reds and oranges, but check out this one I found when I was hauling the garbage to the curb:

It's black, but not like a crunchy, dead, leaf.  Still really supple.  I'm not even sure what kind of tree it came from.  It doesn't look like any of the other leaves in my yard.

Anyway, enough about mysterious leaves.  Unless you know what kind of tree it is, then let me know. ;)  On to song of the week.  It's from alt-J.  I'm really liking their album.  It just came out a couple weeks ago but one of the singles have been on Spotify for a while.  The album has an upbeat sound but still seems fall-ish.  I picture it as being a soundtrack to Lev Grossman's The Magicians.  Which is odd, because I didn't care much for the book, but I like this album.  Anyhow, it's good music to listen to when you're trying to make yourself do something when in reality all you want to do is lay in bed and have some hired help bring you coffee in bed and pick things for you to watch from Netflix. (Coincidentally, that's how I've felt the last week or so.)
